AmeriCorps Members to Participate in MLK Day Activities
Bartholomew County AmeriCorps members will participate in the following service activities in honor of MLK Day, Monday, January 16, 2012:   Just Friends, Strawberry Sundae Monday - AmeriCorps members will assist Just Friends with their Strawberry Sundae Monday DSI, MLK Jr. and Civil Rights - AmeriCorps members will serve with clients to help them learn more about Martin Luthe

Master Power Transmission Highest in Per Capita Giving Among Bartholomew County Manufacturing Companies
As Campaign season gets underway in Bartholomew County, Doug Otto, President of United Way of Bartholomew County, announced that Master Power Transmission is number one in per capita giving amongst all manufacturing companies in Bartholomew County.  Employees there averaged contributions of $343 per person.  "This is something to be proud of," said Doug Otto, United Way Preside

February 17, 2012, 11:30am to 1:00pm:  United Way Board of Directors Meeting.  Doug Otto Center Board Room.

 

February 18, 2012, 10am - 7pm:  Stop by Fair Oaks Mall and watch the LIVE UNITED team build their CANstruction entry.  All cans will go to area food banks.  You can vote on your favorite structure by bringing cans to donate.
