Citizens Review What is the Citizens Review Committee? The Citizens Review Committee is a group of volunteers from the community that serve as stewards for funds contributed by United Way donors. The United Way Board charges this committee with the responsibility of reviewing and evaluating the funding requests made by agencies and programs in the community. These agencies and programs serve the needs of the most vulnerable persons in the community: the elderly, children and youth, the economically disadvantaged, persons with disabilities, children and adults who are abused, and persons in crisis.
