United Way Center What is the United Way Center? The United Way Center is a complex consisting of three buildings, over 200,000 square feet, more than 6.0 acres of land, including a parking lot. The building houses over 35 organizations, approximately 260 employees, and has four conference rooms that are available for use by the community. Organizations that are housed in the Center have rents that are traditionally lower per square foot than anywhere else in Columbus. For more information on the advantages of leasing space in the United Way Center, click here: Leasing Information Where do the funds come from to operate the United Way Center? The United Way Center is a self-supporting entity. Proceeds from rents, vending, federal, state, and local grants and its own fundraising efforts provide the support needed for the building. Designations specifically for the center are welcome. How can I help? As with any building, manpower for maintenance is always an issue. By volunteering to help with fundraising, painting, carpet cleaning, window washing, landscaping and other non-routine jobs, you can also help the Center keep costs down.
