Day of Service

Day of Service is a national event that pairs volunteers with projects for local non-profits and community members to make a impact where it's needed most.

This year’s event will be Sep. 11, 2020.

This volunteer profile will also help you easily sign up for our spring Day of Caring and will make it easier for you to volunteer year round!

This year’s event will look different in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The United Way of Bartholomew County’s No. 1 priority is the health and safety of everyone involved. Volunteers will be limited to 200, with a limit of 10 volunteers per project and projects spread out across the community to avoid clustering. Volunteers will be required to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines for social distancing.

For more information, contact Alicia Monroe, Volunteer Action Center Director at or at 812-314-2960.
