Community Conversations are sessions where community members have engaged discussions and lend their voices to the state of mental health in Bartholomew County.

This event is part of Mental Health Matters.

Mental Health Matters is a community-wide initiative created to address challenges and improve the mental health system for the wellbeing of youth and adults in Bartholomew County. It is a collaborative effort that involves local mental health service providers, the healthcare system, the school system, the judicial system, city and county government, and social service organizations. The state of our residents’ mental health is a crisis that demands immediate attention. It is affecting every aspect of their lives, from work performance and school achievements to personal relationships. The goal of this initiative is to enhance the current mental health system, thereby increasing its ease of navigation and accessibility to our diverse population. By improving the overall mental health and well-being of the community, we will be able to create a healthier, more resilient, and connected community for all.
