As a leader in Bartholomew County’s social service network, United Way uses data, community partnerships, and proven best practices to adapt to these changing conditions. Current trends show rising housing insecurity and financial instability, reinforcing the need for sustainable, long-term solutions.
Introducing the United Way Endowment
In response, United Way of Bartholomew County has established the United Way Endowment—a permanent fund designed to provide stability in times of uncertainty.
The endowment will:
- Support proven strategies that address the root causes of poverty
- Ensure consistent resources are available for future generations
- Strengthen our ability to respond to emerging community needs
- Sustain long-term impact regardless of fluctuations in annual funding
